Dr. Goebel is Evestra’s Director of Quality Control and Quality Assurance. He oversees both departments to assure the quality of compound development and regulatory compliance in all areas of research and production. With nearly twenty-five years of experience in the QC/QA field, Dr. Goebel has a proven background, from discovery through commercial support, in analytical development and quality control protocols, and has extensive experience in interfacing with government agencies (such as the FDA). Prior to joining Evestra, Dr. Goebel was a CMC consultant to various pharmaceutical companies. He was Senior Director of pharmaceutical development for Essa Pharmaceuticals in Houston Texas and held a number of positions at Sanofi Genzyme, Ilex, and Boots. He obtained his BS in chemistry from Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana and received his Ph.D. in physical chemistry from The University of Cincinnati.

Ms. Packenius is Evestra’s Director of Administration and Finance. She is responsible for the direct oversight and management of all administrative and financial functions for Evestra, Inc., and for coordinating related activities with its subsidiaries. Ms. Packenius came to Evestra with extensive experience in administration and finance which she obtained while working for multiple small and large companies. Her extensive background provided her with a broad perspective in the management of the myriad complex requirements of an international company such as Evestra. Since joining the Evestra team in 2009, Ms. Packenius has been instrumental in managing and coordinating complex administrative and finance projects such as the NIH contract, international transactions, and R&D budgets. She has developed key programs and G&A strategies which continue to support Evestra’s accelerating growth.

Dr. Nair is Evestra’s Associate Director for Translational Research and External Collaborations. He is responsible for early discovery of Evestra’s APIs as well as the ongoing biological and preclinical in vivo studies for those compounds. He has fifteen years of expertise in basic and applied cancer research, women’s health, and targeted oncology therapeutics. He received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Mahatma Gandhi University, India in 2003. Prior to joining Evestra, he was a faculty member of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (“UTHSCSA”) where he conducted studies in the areas of cancer chemoprevention, molecular markers, and modulation of targeted-drug activity in gynecological malignancies. He then led the Cancer Research Laboratory at TXBiomed where he primarily focused on melanoma and endometriosis models in primates. He holds an adjunct associate professorship at UTHSCSA.
